How we clean every toy
A rented toy has been played with before — that's the whole point. So cleanliness isn't a footnote for us, it's the actual promise. Here's exactly what happens between one child and the next, no shortcuts skipped.
When a toy comes back to us
Check it over
Every returned toy is looked over piece by piece — wear, damage, loose parts, anything missing — against the same checklist every time, not a quick glance.
Wash it properly
Hard surfaces are washed and wiped down by hand. Anything fabric goes through a proper hygiene-cycle laundering, not a wipe-and-hope.
Sanitise and dry fully
A child-safe sanitiser is applied and given its full contact time — not rushed — then the toy is dried completely before it goes anywhere near packaging.
Record it
The toy is logged clean, with a date, before it's cleared to go back out. If we can't confirm it went through the process, it doesn't go back into rotation.
Before it reaches you
Cleaning isn't the last step — it's followed by a separate check, every single time, right before dispatch.
One more look
Right before it leaves us, every toy gets a second, separate check — not just trusting the first pass. We're looking for anything that slipped through.
Sealed for the trip
Toys are packaged to stay clean and protected between us and your door, not just tossed in a bag.
